Shoshin Aikikai Singapore (SAS) is deeply honoured to have Etsuji Horii Shihan, a 7th Dan Aikikai instructor, serve as our Technical Advisor.
A former Aikikai Hombu Dojo uchi-deshi under the late Kisshomaru Ueshiba, Horii Shihan is internationally respected for his clear, practical, and powerful approach to Aikido. His teaching emphasizes strong fundamentals, continuous learning, and the mutual growth of both instructor and student.
His guidance and support are an invaluable source of inspiration for our instructors and members, helping Shoshin Aikikai Singapore uphold the authentic principles and spirit of Aikido while continuing to grow as a dojo dedicated to lifelong learning and technical excellence.

Shoshin Aikikai Singapore (SAS) was Founded by late Shihan Harry C.K. Ng, 7th DAN .
Shihan Harry Ng had devoted the last 60 years of his life in the promotion and development of Aikido in Singapore.
His vision was simple yet profound – to create a dojo where Aikido is taught with sincerity, integrity and a deep respect for tradition.
